“Cozy Tapes, Vol. 2: Too Cozy,” is the second recorded collaborative studio album released by rap collective, A$AP Mob. Following their debut album, which depicted founder, A$AP Yams as a baby, this album depicts members of their group as high school students who attend “Yamborghini High School.” This track, “Principal Daryl Choad,” is not actually a song, but a skit, given by imaginary principal Choad. He addresses “Yamborghini High School students, faculty, and staff,” daring them “to be the best [they] can be.” Another nod to their good friend Yams, A$AP Mob names their imaginary high school after their former leader. I first encountered this track on the day that “Cozy Tapes, Vol. 2” was released. I was able to make the Yams connection immediately, as I loved their first album so much and I am familiar with A$AP Mob.
