Quincy notes that the curse on Mina’s forehead is gone just before he dies "a gallant gentleman."

seven years later, Jonathan writes that he and Mina have a son named Quincey, Lord Godalming and Dr. Seward are both happily married, and Jonathan says that "there is hardly one authentic document"; the only remaining notes are those which have been transcribed on a typewriter: "Therefore, we could hardly ask anyone . . . to accept these as proofs of so wild a story."
