Description:
Panda is a Moderator for BBG, and one of the oldest members who is still active to this day. She currently lives in Pennsylvania, USA. Her history with the server has been expansive, and one of chaos and drama, Especially in the greater dark ages.
Panda first joined BBG on the 31st of May, 2018, interested by Blook's anarchy realm and the concept SWB going on at the time. She quickly became acquainted by Blook and Hugo, and became a key member in the server very quickly, proving far more active than any of the IRLs who were there at the time. After she'd been on the anarchy realm for a few weeks, she invited Tato, and the Four members became close quickly. Panda was one of the main builders in the Blook's Battlegrounds project along with Blook and Tato, as well as being the second in command for the project. During the construction of the project, Panda developed a sisterly relationship with Tato, as well as developing close ties to Blook as colleagues, which later helped her become Moderator.
During the pre hype era, Panda took part in almost every realm, becoming a loved member of the community and becoming popular among new members. She was viewed as trustworthy, Often helping Blook set up ideas and brainstorm, helping him with Expanday and other similar events. On the 7th of March 2019, Panda became a moderator for BBG, a position she still holds to this day. During the Golden era, Panda became one of Blook's closest friends, supporting him through the era and helping him run the events going on at the time. Her activity rose around this time and she shot up to the 3rd place in levels.
When the Pale incident happened, Panda was the first to side with Blook's theory that she wasn't coming back, and began to support Blook through the difficult situation. As things proceeded to get worse for the Staff team and as panic set in, Panda promised Blook that she'd stick by him to the end, Becoming the main member of Blook's support network at the time. As things continued to deteriorate panda expressed less interest in realms and events, as the drama was beginning to have a heavy effect on her mental health. She talked with Tato in private and decided to ultimately take a long break from BBG for her own mental health and on the 23rd of June 2018, She without warning disappeared off the internet, becoming un-contactable for a period of over five months. During this time, she still held contact with Tato, but besides that she did not speak to any BBG members at all. This had a huge effect on Blook's mental health at the time, as he did not have any moderators to rely on, and did not have anybody to talk to about the drama that was going on.
During the dark ages, Panda's sudden absence caused the community to be very divided on their opinion on her. Some believed that something had happened to panda, and that she would be back soon, whilst others believed she wasn't coming back. Some of the community believed that she was taking a break and that her choice is acceptable, whilst others argued that she'd abandoned her moderator position and in turn the server at the time it needed her most, saying that her decision was morally wrong. As the server continued deeper into the mod crisis and exited out the other end of the dark ages and began to enter the rise, the public opinion of panda began to rise again, as Blook publicly stated she did nothing wrong for taking a break, as it was his fault for causing her break in the first place.
During October 2019, Tato got in contact with Panda again, and seeing how the server had changed for the better, she Decided to come back. On the 4th of November 2019, Panda returned to the server around 1am GMT, ending the mod crisis for good. Tato also returned in full, beginning the Renaissance. In this period, Panda talked a lot with the community, and her actions in the mod crisis were understood and forgiven, and she was once again highly respected by the vast majority of the community. She was Re-Modded around two weeks after she came back, As she proved to Blook that she was still a hard working, responsible mod.
When the divide began in February 2020, Panda once again distanced herself from the community. She leaned more towards the Outsider side, however she still heavily favoured the Loyalist side in some aspects, such as community. Due to the divide, Panda did not take part in BBG Earth and other events around the time. When Tato and Torn left due to the Divide, Panda surprisingly stayed on the Loyalist side, continuing to be very active in the following weeks. She did, however, keep close ties with the Outsider members, and was a key part in Reuniting the server in Blookfest 2020.
In April 2020, when Blookfest was going on, Panda managed to convince Tato and torn to come back Permanently, for the most part ending the divide mindset, reuniting the community, Ever since then, she has been Slightly less active due to school but has still participated in almost every server event and realm, and Still frequently helps moderate the server, Proving to be a responsible moderator who uses past experience to prevent future issues.
Panda can be characterized as Caring, rational and emotionally intelligent. She has seen the server history play out and has been heavily involved in some of the worst times in the server's history, giving her foresight and knowledge she used in the Divide to put an end to it a few months later. She cares for her friends, and is rational about the situations she deals with, Proving to be trustworthy and good at dealing with high stress situations.
