Eagle Motor Company released the Emperor in July of 1965 and it launched in two trims:
Emperor Luxe V8
Emperor Sport Convertible V8
Back then you could pick a Luxe V8 up for around $3.100 ($22.500 in 2012 Automation USD) and it was a great choice for those who wanted comfort and style at very fair price point.
It came with a big block 6.7L V8 that produces 297 Hp and 469 nm of torque, along with a 3 gear automatic gearbox for effortless cruising.
It was an instant classic and sold tremendously well throughout the decade, becoming one of America's most popular cars of the decade.
