Description:
Sanjurjada was on August 10, 1932 and was a military coup which aimed at making the government crumble but not the republic. After brief clashes the military coup was suppressed in Madrid. In Seville one of the local rebel commanders Jose Sanjurjo took control for about 24 hours but later accepted defeat. Based on Sanjurojos attention which was given to him during following trials and his brief success the entire military coup was named after him
