Description:
in an attempt to seize and consolidate power in all of Spain, the anarchists staged an uprising. the uprising was a complete failure with the exception of a prison break in Barcelona. during this uprising, an influential anarchist (six fingers) and his family were killed, causing widespread condemnation from even conservative republicans. this was an important event because it highlighted the degree to which things could violently escelate, and demonstrated that spaniards were willing to open fire on other spanyards.
