More about the topic of the first form of a normal democratic government. This first elected government was able to happen because it was elected and people were able to now vote for who they wanted in this government to control there country and in return the people were able to get all the things the other government (military dictatorship) didn't let them have like the right to speak and the freedom of press and the freedom to vote freedom to associate whatever you believed in or wanted to follow. This new government also completely got rid of any special treatment to other nobles in the country still that had money or had a lot of power so this made the new government only controlled but the people that were all equal instead of the nobles meddling with anything government actions for the country that seems threatening to their money source or power.
