Description:
This was the area where the civil war was fighting and sense it was near Catalonia this means there was some affects to to them. So during this fight Catalonia would be normally in power but because of the war and the fight going on near Catalonia this prevented them to have word because of POUM stopping anything interfering with the war so they hushed there words and same with the other work force groups. They also took control of Catalonia economy and military forces which included the CNT so they would have more men on there side for the fight and no other 3rd party resistance slowing them down by taking out here men needed for the civil war fight with the right wing of the government. So at the and of the day Catalonia was forcibly taken down so they would get in the middle of the war making more trouble for both sides.
