After learning a lot of information about being a programmer and the gaming industry as a whole I would not be interested in pursuing this career in the future. This is because in many of the big companies like Blizzard, Nintendo, and Microsoft it is very competitive to get a job in one of those companies. To even get a chance to get a job you would have to get lucky and stand out from the thousands of other people who are applying for the same exact job. Another thing that is negative about being in this industry is that you won´t have a lot of time to have a social life. This is because of having timelines to finish a game which can make you work long hours and at crunch time not being able to have any time to rest. Overall, the gaming industry is really tough and I feel for all of the people who are working in this industry.
