The primary focus of BCHT is to help people experiencing economic and social hardship to get
into affordable housing on the North Shore, Auckland. BCHT’s vision is to not only provide
good quality affordable housing but also combine that with targeted support that
complements work done through other partner agencies such as Community Support
Workers. Currently the Trust houses 55 residents. This includes two five-bedroom houses for
older women and a house for youth that have been under Oranga Tamariki - Ministry for
Children’s care.
