jan 9, 1931 - Members of the Civil Guard shot 10 workers after a clash with monarchist groups

Description:

The Republican-Socialist alliance was exchanging its first blows with the workers ' movement in less than two months. This caused the shooting of 10 workers. In July, a general strike broke out in Seville in favor of a local telephone workers ' walkout. The State declared martial law. Forty workers died, and in the subsequent street battles, more than 200 were wounded. The anarchists waged a counter-attack. Committed to being active activist.
