Description:
The wall street stock market crashed on October 29, 1929 due to the panic selling of massive amounts of stocks and shares. Many of the other reasons include, rise of American Consumerism, over production of consumer goods, weakness in the banking system. This event resulted in closure of banks, high levels of unemployment, bankruptcies, suicides and eventually led to the great depression. The dictator, Primo De Rivera is unable to handle this economic depression which leads to his resignation and starts the second republic.
