apr 12, 1931 - Left-wing victories in local elections; Alfonso Xlll leaves Spain; provisional government declares Second republic
Description:
After the left wing party won the election for a new government the previous ruler of Spain Alfonso XIII ran away for his own safety and knowing that he lost all of his power and his living right in spin because he knew if he stayed the supports of the new second republic would hunt him down and kill him or tossed into a prison. After the king left the new leaders of the new starting government declare the second republic of Spain to come alive and a start to a new democratic way of living for the people and they started proclamation of a provisional government(The first form of a democratic government that was regular) which was able to sign constitutions and do more for the people like more civil rights and more items easier for them to have like divorce and voting for women and many more items.
