Description:

The treaty of Versailles was singed 28th of June 1919 this marked the complete end of the first world war and to stop further conflict and pay for the damage that the war had caused of the allies forced a treaty on the newly founded democracy government called the Weimar Republic which stated the following the Germans had to pay massive taxes to allies to pay for damages caused and limiting Germany territory and military power this led to harsh conditions for the German citizens during the next 20 years. This treaty was necessary to stop further conflict, but the taxes were very rough and the result was that it fueled the aggression that led to the second world war.
