marking the beginning of Psychoanalytic Thought.
Description:
In which Freud introduces his theory of the unconscious when related to dream interpretation, and discusses the Oedipus complex. Freud revised the book at least eight times. In the third edition, he added a section that took dream symbolism literally.
Because of the book's length and complexity, Freud also wrote an abridged version called On Dreams. The original text is regarded as one of Freud's most significant works.
