Description:

The German-Soviet Nonaggression pact was an agreement between the two nations to not make any military movement against each other for 10 years.

Causes:
-Hitler didn't want to fight a war on two fronts
-He planned on betraying them later because he wanted their land and wanted to lull them into a false sense of security
Effects:
-Japan didn't want to speak with Germany because they had broken the Anti-Comintern Pact
-The Soviet Union join the Axis powers in the beginning of World War 2
-Hitler betrayed the Soviet Union not long after and launched a full scale invasion.
