As the name suggests, this was the second battle at Ypres, which is now eastern flanders fields. This was considered Canada’s first major battle in World War One. More than 6,500 Canadains were either killed, wounded or captured in this battle, however they won this battle due to the strategy they came to the battle with.Added to timeline:
