sep 1, 1939 - German Appeasement ended (Germany invaded of Poland)

Description:

In September of 1938 the German Appeasement, a deal made between Germany and allies Britain and France was created. Hitler believed that the German people living in Sudetenland were being mistreated and demanded that Sudetenland to be surrendered to Germany. At the Munich Conference, the British and French prime ministers agreed to Hitler's demands without consulting Czechoslovak leaders, hoping this would avoid a war in Europe. Because of the appeasement Hitler promised ‘no more territorial demands in Europe’ he broke the appeasement only one year later when he invaded Poland in September of 1938.
