apr 6, 1672 - New York Rebellion of 1712
Description:
On April 6, 1712, a group of black slaves gathered together, armed with weapons. They set a fire in the middle of town, and the fire spread rapidly. The white colonists gathered in order to set off the fire, and the slaves attacked them, killing several of the whites, then ran off. However, the saves were later captured, executed, and burnt alive.
