dec 5, 2012 - Awhile back, my mom used to have this jade bracelet and one time I really wanted to wear it so I had begged. She finally gave in and let me wear it to church. Long story short, I came home without it and I didn´t know how to tell my mom. When she found out, I was sitting on the couch anxious for my punishment. I tried to tell her that my cousin took it and ran off but she wouldn´t budge. She had whopped me a couple of times and I had marks.
Description:
This relates to the preconventional stage 1 of Lawrence Kohlberg´s Moral Levels. The moral goal was to avoid punishments and although I didn´t run away, my way of avoiding it was trying to blame it on someone else.
