may 13, 2016 - Around this time, I was almost thoroughly done with my first year of middle school. I was focused on school and tried my best to do good. I started to understand the concepts of life and harder questions that I wouldn´t if I was younger. I was able to learn new things and apply them to reality.

This relates to the formal operational stage of Piaget´s stages of cognitive development. in this stage, people ages 12+ are able to understand abstract concepts. They are also good at answering hypothetical questions and long term planning/basis.
