Description:

The idea of stopping slave buying and trading of humans came alongside the times of the French revolution and other international events in that period.
This abolition of the act was important because if it were not to have happened, then the world as we know would still be using humans as slaves and beating and mistreating them.
Also, it helped us to realise what we were doing was wrong and we should change.
The debate to abolish the slave trade act took over ten hours of descussions withing the rulers at the time but was eventually approved.
