Description:
The Indian Removal Act was an act that was signed by president Andrew Jackson. This act was where president Andrew Jackson tried to get the Indians to move off of their homeland and move somewhere else. The reason why Jackson wanted them to move was because they were in the way of Americans coming in and settling.
