jan 10, 1920 - League of Nations
Description:
Seven countries were expelled or removed. The world's most powerful nation, the United States, declined to join that had a profound impact on the League's history. Although the League eventually failed to prevent another world war, its effect on the course of interwar history has been varied and complex. World War II's outbreak was the immediate cause of the League's collapse, but a number of other, more basic, deficiencies also occurred. Like the current United Nations, the League lacked its own armed force and relied on the Great Powers to implement its decisions which they were very reluctant to do.
