Description:
Nanjing Massacre took place in China in 1937 killing masses of Chinese citizens and soldiers. The Japanese soldiers and imperial army were also involved in the Sino Japanese war at the time in which preceded WW2. An estimated 100,000 to 300,00 Chinese were killed effecting the population of China. After Japan undertook and controlled Shanghai their army advanced towards Nanking, however it did not go to plan as they failed to get the Chinese soldiers to surrender. After their failed attempt they then attacked the city launching missiles on them resulting in the Chinese army retreating to the other side of the Yangtze River.
