Hitler became the chancellor in 1933, in the current president’s attempt to calm Hitler’s burning desire for power. However this backfired badly on him, as after his death Hitler combined president and chancellor to create the title of ‘Fuhrer.’ He then arrested and executed the rest of his opposition.
