sep 24, 1938 - German Appeasement

Description:

in 1938, the British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain and the French Premier Edouard Daladier signed the Munich Pact. This pact gave part of Czechoslovakia to Germany. This was signed to hopefully create peace between the three countries. This evidently didn't work because the war still ended up happening. This partially aided Germany in the war because the part of Czechoslovakia that they got was rich in coal and minerals that were used for the German armies. - (En.wikipedia.org, 2020)
