One of the causes for Hitler becoming führer was convincing Hindenburg to call an Reichstag election March 1933. Another cause was the death of Hindenburg. Hitler became absolute dictator. With the rise to power the main effect of his dictatorship was World War 2 in 1939. Another effect was Hitler antisemitism towards the Jews putting them in concentration camps and killing them.
