Description:

The Treaty of Versailles was a peace agreement that brought world war 1 to an end. It was signed between the united allied armed forces and Germany on the 28 of June 1919. This officially ended world war 1. This agreement was very cruel to Germany. It forced them to “accept the responsibility for causing all of the loss and all of the damage” for the war. Germany was no other choice but to disarm and give up land to France. Germany also had to pay reparations of 132 billion Marks (around 480 billion dollars today).
