Description:
April 1st, 1924
Hitler, Nazi Party
After the Beer Hall Putsch, Hitler was taken into custody and tried for treason. Although he was given a far less harsh punishment than he was expecting, he was still given 5 years of jail time. However, he was released in 9 months after pressure from the Nazi party. Significant because during this time he wrote “Mein Kampf,” or “My Struggle,” a personal narrative.
