Description:

Auckland Council agrees to sell a 1.85ha block of vacant land near Hayman Park, Manukau City Centre, to the Government for development as an intensive housing area. Formerly the site of the Rally of New Zealand's Manukau circuit, the land has been unused for some years. It is planned to build as many as 600 apartments there.
