General Douglas MacArthur, the WW2 hero, had a plan to drive the invaders from the South Korea. He decided to strike at the weakness by launching a surprise attack on the city f Inchon, well behind enemy line. On Sept 15, 1950, US Marines landed at Inchon and attacked. By October, North Koreans had been driven back to 38th parallel.
