apr 27, 1953 - Executive Order 10450 is enacted

Description:

This order, signed by President Eisenhower, made it easier to terminated federal employees. Employees were subjected to more rigorous moral codes and the order made explicit reference to "sexual perversion." Many gay employees lost their jobs as a result of this order.
