sep 15, 1950 - Inchon Attack
Description:
Inchon was a poor landing sight with swift currents and treacherous tides. It was well behind enemy lines. General Douglas MacArthur wanted to attack this weak point thinking North Korea would never expect it. His plan ended with success as U.S. Marines landed om Inchon and launched an attack causing the communist forces to flee. By October 1950, North Koreans had been driven north of the 38th parallel.
