jun 25, 1950 - Truman's Solution

Description:

After the invasion, President Truman decided to continue aiding the South. His plan was voted upon by the Un Security Council, as they wanted to restore peace to the Republic of Korea. He sent his occupation troops from Japan into South Korea. The troops had no battle training and when they got there, they joined South Korean allies in retreating to the southeast. There they waited for fresh supplies and troops coming from Japan. They were also joined by soldiers from other UN countries.
