Description:
The stalemate of the Korean War played a large role in the 1952 Election.
Republican candidate and former military man, Dwight Eisenhower, promised the American people that he could end the war if he was elected president.
Eisenhower won the election and not long after, went to Korea, visited the troops, and studied the other sides defenses.
The president determined that he could only use extreme force to end the war.
