jan 2, 1814 - Volume two of Kinder- und Hausmärchen appears in print, adding 70 stories to the previous collection. There will be six additional editions added during the Grimms' lifetime. Its final version will contain 200 numbered stories plus 10 "Children's Legends." It will become the best known and most influential book ever created in the German language.
