sep 15, 1950 - MacArthur's Counter Attack on the North

Description:

WWII hero, General Douglas MacArthur had a clever plan to set up a counter attack on North Korea in order to drive them out of South Korea. He assumed that the North had sent most of their supplies and troops to the South, leaving most of North Korea defenseless. He planned a surprise attack on the Northern city of Inchon, a port city. It would be the last place that they would expect an attack to take place.

On September 15th, the counter attack took place. It was a huge success!

By October of 1950, North Korea had been driven even farther north of the 38th Parallel.
