Eisenhower tries to have peace talks with North Korea. When these peace talks seem like they might fail, he hints at the idea that he may bring nuclear weaponry into the conflict. This and the death of Joseph Stalin is enough to convince the communists to back off. The cease-fire is still in effect today.
