Dr. Seward tells Arthur Lucy doesn't have an official disease but something is wrong, Seward calls Van Helsing to come and help diagnose the issue (he was Sewards teacher) and he is an expert in obscure diseases and he owes Seward since he saved his life and says he'll be able to be there immediately
