jan 1, 1962 - Geronimo
Description:
During the 1960s the film industry began to use Indians to represent any oppressed people. Since the Indian had been thought of as an obstacle in the settlers way for so long, it was easy for the audience to grasp that they were oppresed people. Therefor it only made sense to use them to represent the people constantly battleing the hostility of outsiders.
