Description:
- Binary was absolutely revolutionary. Prior to this, we had regular numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc.) With binary, however, we could simply represent different numbers in 0's and 1's.- Later in binary logic, the 0's and 1's would be given values of true or false, or essentially "on" or "off" switches. This would prove to be necessary for the modern computer.
- Modern computers all use binary together, simply because 1's and 0's simplfiied the technical calculations computers needed to make. With transistors only having to turn "on" or "off", the very process of designing and using computers could be much easier.
