mar 2, 1939 - Stagecoach
Description:
Stagecoach, directed by John Ford, was the first of a new genre: the western. This type of movie painted Native Americans in a new light. Instead of an accurate representation, natives were portrayed as villainous, bloodthirsty, uncivilized, and as an obstacle to be overcome.
