Description:

The Nazis hatched a plot to get rid of the conservative Government and replace it with a Nazi style one, which would support Hitler policies.

However, Italian Government led by Mussolini, threatened to step in if the Nazis took over Austria. As such, Mussolini sent the Italian Army to their border with Austria.

By the end of 1934, Hitler looked much weaker and gave up his plans to take control of Austria
