jan 1, 1960 - 1960s women's reproductive rights

Description:

In the 1960s, women’s roles in America were starting to change. More women were getting jobs, and fighting for equal pay and equal treatment at work. Women were also able to make decisions on their reproductive rights.
According to US News and World Report, “by the end of the 1960’s, more than 80 percent of women used contraception after the government approved birth control pills. This freed women to have better choices about when and if they wanted children.”
