Description:
The Battle of Tippecanoe was a war between the Indians from the Indiana Territory and the Americans who were instructed by Henry Harrison. The leader of the Shawnee tribe, Tecumseh, was not in the area during the battle. Tcumseh’s brother, The Prophet, was incharge of the tribe. Henry Harrison saw this as a good opportunity to attack the tribe, and he was successful and the Indians no longer lived in this area.
