The Sol Proclamation places trade embargo's and sanctions upon the Jovian System, hoping that by cutting the moons off from the wider theatre of human civilisation to effectively starve Velria into submission. With the majority of food stuffs being brought in via external trade, Velria has only two months of stockpiles to fall back upon. Realising that capitulation would result in the end of Jovian autonomy Ammelia Korinth, Velrias on site
CEO begins a process of extensive and rapid construction; constructing agri-domes and fishfarms within the controlled environments that surround the Europan city of Marianna. The margin for error is non-existent, even a single days delay in the creation of the most basic food stuffs containing the seed for potential catastrophe. Conditions in the cities drop, and for a time it seems the efforts of Velria will not be enough, yet slowly, gradually, Marianna begins to ramp up its food-production and even boost past quotas, allowing Europa to support the smaller colonies within the Jovian system. Where once the colonies had only been affiliated by their mutual host-corporation, intense and fierce bonds of loyalty begin to form amongst the Jovian moons, with all paying homage to Europa and Marianna for leading them so effectively in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds; many calling for Ammelia Korinth to take up direct governance of the colonies, which she does to unanimous applause. Increasingly, the Jovian system looks to itself, and itself alone, for guidance and strength, beginning to eschew core-world culture and technology for locally produced materials and designs. In their attempt to break the Jovian moons the Sol Proclamation had only strengthened their resolve to stand independent from the rest of human civilisation; and laid the foundations for the Korinth matriarchal dynasty. From now under the death of the last matriarch, the Korinth family alone shall sit the throne of Jupiter.
