Description:
The Ontario Inquiry was an investigation on prisons and the reformatory system. It visited multiple prisons and reform schools and spoke to different prison officials. 16 out of the 48 locations they visited contained juvenile delinquents. The report supported changes in the treatment of young offenders and made recommendations to change the laws regarding young offenders. The report created more public awareness and focused attention on young offenders rights.
