Because Merida is being forced into an arranged marriage, three men compete for her hand in a tournament. She decides to compete herself... for her own hand in marriage. To escape her fate she feeds her mom a magic cake which turns her into a bear, if she does not help her mom before sunrise she could loose her forever.
