eric Houston, a 20-year old former student of LHS, opened fire at the school. Killing his old high school civics teacher, and 3 others. He kept 80 students hostage for hours until the police seized the classroom. He admitted he made this decision because he was angry he failed to obtain his GED from his school, ultimately making him jobless.
